We got out the ball popper the other day (it's a loud and sort of obnoxious toy, so we don't get it out too often) and I thought Luke would love it. He liked it, but I think EmJ had the most fun playing with it!

Luke decided it'd be more fun to take off his socks and chew on them... weird!

A typical kid thing - Luke would rather play with random "non-toy" stuff than his toys... silly boy!

I'm sure you've heard about the crazy weather in Colorado in the spring... here's EmJ playing in the snow the other day.


I know it's kind of hard to see, but I had to include this picture. While EmJ and I were outside playing in the snow, Luke and Daddy were inside. EmJ was throwing snow at the window and Luke was cracking up! So cute!

March Madness!!!

If you know us at all, you know we love March Madness around here! Yesterday was the first day and KU played, so naturally we were all decked out in our KU gear. I thought I should take some pictures of the kids... I didn't get the pictures I "wanted" to (the one above is the best one of the 2 of them together), but I sure got some fun ones! :o)

Luke's 7 months pictures!

Can you believe Luke is 7 months old?

I sure can't! :o)

But I can believe that he's super-duper cute!

Luke's been teething the last couple of days (today is much better... thank goodness!) - he's normally a drooler, but lately... WOW! Check that out! :o) Ha!
(and don't worry... I changed his shirt right after I took some pictures!)

Just out on a walk the other day... I love watching these two interact- so stinkin' cute!

Angelina Ballerina... and some other fun stuff

EmJ has a great love for Angelina Ballerina right now... we have lots of the books because EmJ's cousin, Janae, was a big fan of Angelina too... we have a card game, and we have a board game too (thanks, Janae!). I am not exaggerating when I say that EmJ and I play the card game and/or board game multiple times a day. EmJ's favorite thing is when Daddy is home and he can play with us too. The best part is that when you play the board game, you get to do some actual ballerina moves... awesome! :o) Here are some pictures from the other day when we played:

Since EmJ was barely walking Jeff would bring here to this spot and tell her it is the only place she's allowed to throw rocks - into the drain - so, we come here pretty much every time we take a walk. EmJ still gets excited about it!
