What We've Been Up To...

Hi there...

if you're still there...

So, truth be told, I've been a little overwhelmed with the idea of catching our blog up. However, my fabulous friend, Debbie, just wrote a blog where she caught up on what has been happening with her family and it inspired me. So... here's what we've been up to since I properly posted a blog:

Somebody turned 2...

Luke had a birthday!

She did so awesome dropping her petals and standing still up at the front. And, she was clearly looking gorgeous for the occasion!

Our first snow of the season happened when we were in the mountains, too... so fun!

Luke loves, loves, loves to color. Most of the time it's with his left hand... another thing he does just like Daddy!

Fancy Nancy and A Cowboy

We had a fun Halloween weekend- complete with lots of candy and fairly warm weather for a Colorado Halloween! :o)

EmJ went as Fancy Nancy (if you don't know who she is, you probably don't have a little girl... she's a sweet and funny little girl who loves all things fancy... needless to say, perfect for Miss EmJ) and Luke was a cowboy. They were both pretty dang cute, if I do say so myself! :o)

Yes, I realize that I've been MIA on the blog for awhile... sorry about that! :o)

It's been a tad crazy around here (none of you ever get crazy busy, right?! ha!). For now... a few pictures from this summer for you to enjoy:

This is something we did a ton of this summer... playing in the sprinkler!

Clearly the kids didn't have any fun at all. Riiiight.

Both the kiddos love balloons... Luke is watching tv here, but obviously isn't about to let go of his balloon. Ha!

a sleepover and a tea party

Yes, I realize it's been awhile since I've put up a real post. We've had a very fun summer and I have lots to share! I will get caught up, but it might take me awhile. :o) Little by little, right?

While Chloe and Ireland (and Gunner and Kimmi and Chris) were here, the girls got to have their very first sleepover! It was tons of fun! We made popcorn and stayed up late to watch a movie (The Little Rascals) and then the girls got to sleep together on the living room floor. They thought it was awesome! And, I'm happy to report that everyone did fabulous and actually slept and woke up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed in the morning!

Ireland also really wanted to have a tea party while they were here. It was super fun - and everything a tea party should be! Everyone got dressed up and we used fancy tea cups and had yummy snacks... it was great!

EmJ was super excited to wear her hair down and get all dressed up and fancy! :o)
