I know, I know...

Yes, I realize that I've been MIA on the blog for awhile... sorry about that! :o)

It's been a tad crazy around here (none of you ever get crazy busy, right?! ha!). For now... a few pictures from this summer for you to enjoy:

Both the kiddos love balloons... Luke is watching tv here, but obviously isn't about to let go of his balloon. Ha!

a sleepover and a tea party

Yes, I realize it's been awhile since I've put up a real post. We've had a very fun summer and I have lots to share! I will get caught up, but it might take me awhile. :o) Little by little, right?

While Chloe and Ireland (and Gunner and Kimmi and Chris) were here, the girls got to have their very first sleepover! It was tons of fun! We made popcorn and stayed up late to watch a movie (The Little Rascals) and then the girls got to sleep together on the living room floor. They thought it was awesome! And, I'm happy to report that everyone did fabulous and actually slept and woke up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed in the morning!

Ireland also really wanted to have a tea party while they were here. It was super fun - and everything a tea party should be! Everyone got dressed up and we used fancy tea cups and had yummy snacks... it was great!

EmJ was super excited to wear her hair down and get all dressed up and fancy! :o)

Goin' to Kindergarten!

I can't believe this day is here already... EmJ starts kindergarten today!

We've dropped her off and I know she's just loving it... can't wait to hear all about it!

I'll post more (and yes, I am very far behind and I do have lots of pictures to share... I'll get there!) about her first day when she gets home and tells us all about it. Until then... a couple of pictures we snapped this morning:

4th of July Weekend

The 4th of July is a favorite holiday around here... and this year was no different!
