Our Awesome Kids!

We have some pretty awesome kids, if I do say so myself! :o) I haven't done this in a long while, so I thought I'd give a little "all about" for our kiddos...

Miss EmJ:

EmJ is very much a 3 year old... in all aspects of the age! She loves to color, draw, play with princesses and ponies, dance, laugh, read, and sing. Her favorite color has always been blue, but it is changing by the day lately... today it's pink. Her favorite thing to eat is strawberries. She loves the PBS show "Super Why" and is learning all kinds of cool things about letters, words, and reading from that show. She is constantly full of energy - even though she's pretty much done with her nap. We still do a rest time where she's by herself, which is fabulous for all of us. She is a bundle of joy who adores her little brother and is quite the Daddy's girl. We love our sweet EmJ!

Mr Luke:

Luke is 8 weeks today and doing fabulous... we are so blessed by this sweet boy who is such a great baby! He is smiling often now - and recognizes Daddy, Mommy, and EmJ. I love this age because they just smile with their whole body - adorable! He's been sleeping through the night for awhile now, which ROCKS! We go to the doctor on Oct. 22nd for his 2 month check-up, so we'll get his stats then. I'd say he's around 10 pounds... and crazy long! He hasn't "chunked up" as quickly as EmJ did, but we think it's because he is so long! He is a great eater and is really doing good at holding his head up. He is also really staring to coo and "talk" - love it! He adores EmJ and his bink. :o) We love him to pieces and really enjoy our family of 4!

Grandpa Reg and Grandma Tracey's Visit

Grandpa Reg and Grandma Tracey recently got to come out to see us! :o)

It's been chilly outside the past few days, so we've stayed inside a lot. Yesterday EmJ and I decided to make edible cookie dough (basically without eggs so you can eat it - YUMMY!)... she was so excited to eat it that she couldn't even make it to the table - she just plopped down and started eating! Ha ha!
It was so good she couldn't even look at the camera :o)
I love this picture of Luke because it shows lots about him right now...

1. His sweet old man hair (totally bald just on top with lots of hair on the sides and in back)

3. His super awesome smile (which he is doing more and more -LOVE it!)

one month old already?!

That's right... Luke turned 1 month yesterday! Wow...

He's starting to smile at will :o) -still working on it, but he's done it a few times... so fun!
He's also finding his voice which is just adorable!

We are obviously loving this little man more and more everyday... including EmJ - she often says "Luke's cute, isn't he?" :o)
